About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Threads Picker. They set out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the tool. We have tried to keep the language plain, because terms you cannot understand are not much use to anyone.
What Threads Picker is
Threads Picker is an independent online tool that loads public comments from a Threads post and selects giveaway winners at random. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Threads or Meta. References to Threads are made only to describe what the tool works with.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to use a paid plan, and you must use the tool only for lawful purposes. By using Threads Picker, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you give us, such as your billing email, is accurate.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone has gained access to it. We are not liable for losses caused by someone else using your account because you did not keep your credentials safe.
Free trials
New users get 3 free trial draws so they can test the tool before paying. Trials are provided as they are, and we may change or end the trial offer at any time. The trial is meant for genuine evaluation; creating multiple accounts to get around trial limits is not allowed and may lead to access being blocked.
Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Paid access is offered through subscription plans. The Creator plan is billed monthly at $5 per month, and the Growth plan is billed yearly at $50 per year. Prices are shown on our pricing page at https://tdspicker.com/pricing and may change over time; any change will apply to future billing periods, not the one you have already paid for.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method for the plan you select, including automatic renewal at the start of each new billing period until you cancel. You can cancel the monthly plan at any time, and cancellation stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. It is your responsibility to cancel before a renewal if you do not want to continue.
Refunds
Because access is granted immediately and the tool delivers a usable result each time you run a draw, subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If you believe you were charged in error, or you experienced a genuine technical failure that stopped the tool working, contact us at [email protected], and we will look at your case in good faith.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Threads Picker only for legitimate giveaways and contests, and only with public posts you have the right to run a draw on. You agree not to use the tool to break the law, to harass people, to scrape data for purposes unrelated to your giveaway, or to interfere with how the service runs. You also agree not to try to reverse engineer, copy, resell, or overload the service, and not to use automated means to access it in ways that disrupt it for others. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Fairness of draws
The value of Threads Picker rests on the draw being fair, so a result cannot be edited or re-rolled on request. Once entries are loaded and the random shuffle runs, the outcome stands. This is a feature, not a limitation: it is what lets you and your audience trust the result. We provide the tool to run the draw; the responsibility for setting up the giveaway correctly, choosing sensible filters, and honouring the prize sits with you.
Your responsibilities as a giveaway organiser
You are the organiser of your giveaway, not us. That means you are responsible for running it in line with the rules of Threads, the laws and promotional regulations that apply to you and your entrants, and any tax or disclosure requirements. You are responsible for clearly stating your giveaway's terms to entrants, for contacting and delivering prizes to winners, and for handling any disputes with participants. Threads Picker provides the drawing tool and a record of the result; it does not run your promotion for you.
Service availability
We work to keep Threads Picker available and accurate, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular moment. We may carry out maintenance, update features, or change parts of the service, and we may have to limit or pause access at times.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Threads Picker is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the tool, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or problems with a giveaway you ran. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the period in which the issue arose. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have that cannot be waived under the law.
Intellectual property
The Threads Picker name, site, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Using the tool does not give you ownership of it. Your giveaway content and the exports you generate remain yours.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use Threads Picker after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to our operation, and disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. For any questions about these terms, email us at [email protected].
